A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ECOMMERCE INVENTORY SPECIALIST
The eCommerce Inventory Specialist will be responsible for prepping qualifying incoming items using third party software to identify, label, barcode and place items on mobile shelving for the listers. Shelve and inventory all listed items for the listers. Maintain accurate inventory and proper shelving to be sure shippers can easily find and pull listed items. Use reporting systems to track items to enhance the process of keeping higher valued items and sending lower valued items back to the stores. Assist in the tracking of incoming/outgoing contributions for the department, including helping the Collectibles Presorter with carts and with the incoming/outgoing jewelry totes as well. Establish and maintain good working relationships with both the Shopgoodwill team as well as the retail stores.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ECOMMERCE INVENTORY SPECIALIST
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Computer proficiency, including a high level of Internet knowledge.
- Knowledge of work flow processes and lean efficiencies helpful.
- Aware of quality merchandise and basic familiarity with collectibles and antiques.
- Ability to navigate online auction sites.
- Excellent customer service skills with a history of positive working relationships.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
